Micha Biography Highlights Summary continued:
A Christian Artist, Micha was born around midnight on August 29, 1980. Micha and her Family, her mother Aida, Father Edward, and brother Michael, emigrated to the United States on October 31, 1990, the eve of Halloween/ All Saints Day. They arrived to the United States with only Hope in her Parent's pocket, after having lost their home in the hardships of the war in Lebanon in the 1980's. Micha says, "With Faith, Love, and Determination, we have survived many challenges. I was very fortunate though in the sense that we were never in need. My dad held different jobs and was determined to make sure that we
didn't want for things. He wanted to give us more opportunity than he had, for a better life. He did that for us." As a family, growing up, my father worked several jobs, my brother as well, my mother always helped support all of us at home and as we worked together, and I have also worked several jobs to help support my family, including sales consulting, accounting, selling some of my artwork and others.
Micha began drawing & painting at the young age of 5 in Jounieh, Lebanon. Due to war in Lebanon, Micha traveled to the island
of Cyprus & she became as the well known artist In the area, selling her drawings & running up to her apartment to commission
more works, when Micha was around the age of 9, Due to customer demands (Micha posted her drawings on the fence & tree
near the sidewalk with her little stand and chair).
While still in High School, Micha was chosen and awarded a scholarship by her art Teacher To attend Otis College of Art & Design,
in Los Angeles… Studying and developing her talent. Also Micha attended painting & animation classes in Glendale
Community College, California.Micha earned a large following of collectors. She has created portraits…, and replicas of Famous
old masters paintings including the Mona Lisa & Van Gogh, a Mary Cassatt painting, landscapes, …Working from her imagination
or photos, Micha has astonished viewers with her quite detailed paintings & portraits that appear realistic, & as an Artist of Light,….
